Bio
Jeffrey’s musical career started in 2005 when he successfully auditioned for admission into the Music Technology program (now called Media Music) at ArtEZ Academy of Music.
In this program, he honed both his skills as a keyboard and piano player as well as his technical knowledge about music productions.
As evidenced both by his broad production portfolio as well as live performances with artists like Liesbeth List, Jeffrey is at home in all styles of music.
In 2007, he joined Stream of Passion, an alternative gothic metal band originally formed by composer/guitarist Arjen Lucassen and singer Marcela Bovio.
In May 2009, the band’s second album, “The Flame Within”, was released by the Austrian record label Napalm Records.
Besides Stream of Passion, Jeffrey is involved in a number of other projects. In 2008 and 2009, he was a band member for Christmas Metal Symphony and Rock Rock Classics Symphony, two shows in which a band, symphony orchestra, and a range of guest singers from around the world cooperate.
Among the guest artists were Bobby Kimball (Toto), Chris Thompson (Manfred Mann’s Earthband), Mats Levén (Yngwie Malmsteen), Doro Pesch, Russell Allen (Symphony X) and Chuck Billy (Testament).
At the end of 2009, Jeffrey also joined Vivid Circus, a band he had already worked with for some time.
Vivid Circus was founded by musicians from the ArtEZ Academy of Music and combines classic hardrock with progressive metal. The band is currently working on its promo-CD.
Meanwhile, Jeffrey’s music production activities didn’t stand still. In the summer of 2009, Jeffrey graduated from ArtEZ and by the end of 2009 he officially started his own studio named Milkmark Studio.
After gaining experience at several Dutch recording studios, at the start of 2010 he finished the first album productions made in his own studio.
